Nikon D3500 एक 24 मेगापिक्सल का एंट्री-लेवल DSLR है जिसमें APS-C CMOS सेंसर दिया गया है, जो सस्ता, हल्का है और इसकी लंबी बैटरी लाइफ है। यह नए फोटोग्राफर को ध्यान में रखकर बनाया गया था और इसमें एक गाइड मोड की सुविधा है जो अनिवार्य रूप से आपको सिखाएगा कि विभिन्न स्थितियों में कैसे शूट किया जाए।

Build And Handling
Nikon D3500 एक small size कैमरा है इसकी बॉडी seem काफी pretty fat and chunky है Comparisoning Mirrorless कैमरा के मुकाबले यह आपको कैमरा पर एक अच्छी पकड़ देता है और पीछे की तरफ एक नया layout Button Nikon D3500 की हैंडलिंग और आसान बना देता है। Nikon D3500 मैं Power Switch, Sutter Release Button के चारो और होता है। इसमें Rear Screen Touch Sensitive नहीं है। इसमें आपको Physical Buttons पर निर्भर रहना पड़ता है।
Performance
Nikon D3500 Responsive लगता है। Autofocus Beep थोड़ा लाउड हैं , लेकिन AF-P लेंस का Auto Focus एकदम Swift and Quiet है। आप कैमरा के focus point को automatically चुन सकते है या ऐसे स्वयं चुन सकते है।
Live view Mode मैं आप Screen पर कहि भी Focus Point का selection कर सकते है। Touch Control ना होने के कारण आपको ऑफ Point को को move करने के लिए Four-Way बटन का उपयोग करना पड़ता है जो थोड़ा धीमा है। हालांकि Live View Autofocus आश्चर्यजनक रूप से तेज है। इसके DSLR मे Phase - Detection autofocus का उपयो नहीं है, इसके बजाय slower Contrast-besed Autofocus पर निर्भर करता है।
